2158, the terrible virus decimates the old international network intercom. This year is the birth of what people commonly call the ocean, the matrix, the Cyberspace. This new network, TrKn2, invented by Yvon Jack, emblematic prophet of the artificial intelligence for a whole mobility of cyber fanatic, is composed of every computer and other apparatuses being able to connect itself to the network.
This virtual universe which represents the ocean, or the matrix, generates for its user a simulation of virtual reality, the interfaces responding to its thoughts. The user uses his senses to move in the network and to interact with it.

Sciences and technology in cybertechnology make it possible to install in a human body, a machine, animals and everything, an high technology artificial component which increase the performances, acquire knowledge, improve the life. A human body can be gradually mechanized and filled with electronics as the most powerful robots.
To install cyberware (name given to the implants), it is necessary to have a surgeon, a private clinic or specialized hospital and material, without forgetting a great quantity of brouzoufs (money). Of course it is possible to find people less qualified in places less adapted, but the operation is then
risky.
In the private clinics specialized with good experts, there is no more risk of death.
The cybertechnology is nowadays very common, and is present in all the social classes. Every good fighter of the streets, soldier, and mercenary must be cybernetised to survive in this modern jungle. "An implant can often save your life." W.Handerty, Croon vice president.
The cybermancy is a discipline mixing the psychic capacities, and cybernetics, but also the fusion of the man and the machine to create the divine one. This philosophy preaches cybernetics, but as a technique, it allows especially to be extremely cybernetised.
Somebody wanting to call upon the cybermancy must find a "temple" of
cybermancy, nickname given to the very special clinics which practice this art.
There are several temples in the E.Y.E organization, in the holly forgery, but also in certain federal structures and several mega corporations where they are called "phantom clinics". The rites and practical differ according to each type of temple.
The fruit of such practice is called necrocyborg.
Practical of the holly forgery and E.Y.E:
When a body is too cybernetic, it's not enough liveable for the spirit (we will call this indefinable thing like that).
At the beginning of an operation of necrocybermancy, the patient is hypnotized and asleep, then, three cyber necromancers come.
Then they begin a ritual to extract the spirit from the patient. If they success, then it's time that the techno priests to act... The spirit of the patient planes on the top of the body and is well attracted by death...
... After that, these techno priests practice various preparations to install the runic parts of cyber technology. To see if the body of the patient accepts the new components, the player must success a constitution's throw. If he misses, the patient dies, his spirit forsaking the body.
Then the necromancers return and try the ritual of reinstallation of the spirit. For that, it needs the patient to have a lot of will.
Practical of the mega corporations and the Federation:
They use a method derived from manufacture of Alpha class cyborg. Initially, the technicians modify the body of the patient as much as possible to bring it closer to the body of a cyborg.
Then, a telepathist forces the patient's will not to choose the way of death, and consequently to remain in his body which became strange and foreign. Finally the body of the unhappy is closed again.
It should be noted that the mega corporations often use a strange process which transfer "the spirit" of the body to the machine, in this case to replace the magic's throw competence by data processing.
